Color Eater!
Although choosing the bright theme makes it less star-themed
you can now pick between 4 color palettes!
This meant going into every object and making it ready to use the palette instead of hardcoded colors. Also everything needs a routine to be updated and redrawn depending on its state. It was a quite cumbersome hunt from error to error until everything worked again.
I am super happy with the palettes I got, eccept maybe the bright "thell" theme, which on one hand burns your eyes out and on the other might not work super well with the theme of the game and the dark player and text color. Maybe I can come up with another muted color theme for people with super glarey displays, that still sells the scifi theme.
Speaking of scifi
I played aroung more with the thought of getting some random generated info about the stars you are visiting. It would be hard though to make up ncie looking information that is not too repetitive. It would be awesome if you learn about civilisations you wipe out through your journey, but if the info is only there to pad things out and has finite, reappearing messages it would get old quite quick I guess.
